Painting your roof is the easiest way to keep your home in good condition and protect your investment. The following are just a few of the many reasons to repaint your roof.

-
Water resistance: Most roof paints are meant to act as a waterproof coating. This extra layer of sealant will keep moisture and salts off your roof and increase the life span of your home.
-
Reduced temperatures: Many roof paints are designed to reflect sunlight. This preserves the appearance of the paint and helps your home stay cooler and your roof last longer.
-
Lasting protection: A coat of roof paint will greatly increase the lifespan of your roof. Apply fresh coats regularly to help even the simplest roof last for decades.
-
Updated appearance: A fresh layer of paint can make your old roof look brand new again. Paint your roof alongside the rest of your home for a complete exterior makeover.
Before we dig into the process of transforming the exhausted coatings on this metal roof, we need to point out that, as always, safety was a major focus. Our boom lift operators are trained and certified, and we used safety harnesses, hard hats, safety glasses, and steel-toe shoes at all times. We also set up cones by the boom lift to warn motorists that workers were present.
Now, back to the process!

First, we pressure-washed the surface with our industrial-grade units, blasting away dirt, debris, and the old coating. We didn’t want anything to get in the way of the new paint’s successful adhesion.
